What warranty do you offer on Acton boots?

Manufacturer’s warranty

Acton products are covered under a 6-month warranty, from date of purchase, against manufacturing defects, following a normal use only.

The warranty does not cover :

  • Damage caused by accident, misuse, inadequate care, negligence;
  • Normal wear and tear;
  • The natural breakdown of colors and materials used in the footwear workmanship.

**Slight variations in color and/or texture are inherent to natural leather. They are a valued characteristic of this material and therefore not considered a defect.

All claims must be made through the retailer where the product was purchased, with original proof of purchase. The retailer will apply its own policy of repair, exchange or return.


The warranty only applies to products purchased directly from an Acton AUTHORIZED retailer or from Warranty is automatically voided if product was purchased at an UNAUTHORIZED retailer including liquidation centers, flea markets, online auction websites, classified ads and any other unauthorized resellers. Therefore, a proof of purchase is mandatory with each claim.

All products bought on our website can be returned or exchange within 30 days of placing your order. Your product must be in original and unworn condition and must be sent back in their original packaging in new condition in order to get a reimbursement or an exchange. For a defective product, for online product purchases through, the same 6-month warranty applies.

Once your application is processed someone will contact you. The product will either be repaired, replaced or refunded at our discretion.

Depending on the time of the year, please note that your claim may take up to 10 business days to be processed..

What is the Anti-freeze warranty from Acton

The design, unique materials and exceptional quality of our Acton/Thermo boots make it possible for us to offer the “Acton Anti-Freeze Guarantee”.


Should the purchaser of a pair of boots identified as ACTON THERMO suffer from cold on his/her feet while wearing these boots, CHAUSSURES RÉGENCE INC. will allow its authorized retailer to exchange the ACTON THERMO boots for another pair of boots of equal value. The Company’s or Retailer’s responsibility is limited only to the exchange of the product for a similar product and does not cover reimbursements.

Any other type of claim will be refused.
The ANTI-FREEZE GUARANTEE is valid for a period of 30 days from the date of purchase (please note that all purchases made and invoiced between May 1st and December 14th will be considered as purchases made on December 15th. That is to say that for all purchases of ACTON THERMO boots made during the above-mentioned period, the guarantee will be effective for a period of 30 days starting from December 15th). All merchandise returned must be accompanied by the sales slip, within 10 days following the exchange.

N.B.: For thermal efficiency, it is important to use quality socks made of synthetic fibers such as polypropylene. Therefore, if the boots have been worn with other socks than synthetic, or if the boots have been modified or altered, the guarantee will not be honored.
